Class Descriptions

**Class levels are denoted as Mild, Medium or Spicy.

Sunday Serenity Tea [MILD]

This meditation class will expose participants to the benefits of guided imagery. Guided imagery or creative visualization is an age old meditation technique that involves taking yourself on a personal inner journey for wellness.  We will tune our imaginative skills, which is one of the keys to success, and create a space for deep relaxation for our minds, bodies and souls. Basic Level


Hot Cleanse with a Twist [Spicy!]

This is HOT 95* + Power infused Flow class utilizing twists and compression postures designed to deatoxify your body, mind & spirit! Boost your body (immune system) and cleanse your soul (clear out unwanted emotion/energy)...with a twist! Knowledge of postures is a must. Prior Power/Flow experience recommended.


Bikram [SPICY!]

Piping Hot!!!  Bikram Yoga is a series of 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises practiced twice each in 105*.  It is designed for the beginner student, but also challenges the most veteran practitioners. The postures work systematically to bring your body into optimal balance.


Powerlattes [All Levels]

Served up a room temperature this class is a flavorful mix of core focused movement, complimented by power yoga postures to create a delectable balance of strength, flexibility, alignment and breath, while toning glutes, thighs, arms & abdominals. This practice ends in a soothing relaxation for dessert!!  This practice is made to serve all levels of spice. From mild to extra spicy, the choice is yours!  Modifications will be offered A la carte!

 

Hot Pilates Flow [All Levls]

A total body core class that is the perfect appetizer before a main dish yoga practice.  This class combines traditional Pilates and yoga core exercises with current functional core techniques used in other fitness modalities. Primarily a body weight driven class with frequent use of gliders and yoga blocks to fire up that core! This practice is made to serve all levels of spice. From mild to extra spicy, the choice is yours!

 

Seasonal Selection [All Levels]

An all levels flow class based upon the principles of Ayurveda, a.k.a yoga’s sister science.  The ingredients of this practice are the elements Earth, Air, Fire, Water, and Space.  Each season has a unique combination of the elemental “ingredients”  and we can adjust our yoga practice to bring balance to the seasonal changes.  Ayurvedic Flow is therapeutic and healing for the body, mind, and spirit. Nourish, Restore, Replenish! This practice is made to serve all levels of spice. From mild to extra spicy, the choice is yours!

 

Sunnyside Up Flow [Mild]

Your morning flow served sunny side up with a focus on sun salutations to perk you up and start your Sunday off bright! Bring your appetite for a well balanced flow that is lively enough to get you going, yet chill enough for a Sunday morning! We hope you don't get too full on the flow so you can enjoy your Sunday brunch after.


TRX [All Levels]

The TRX Suspension Trainer is the original, best-in-class workout system that leverages gravity and your bodyweight to perform hundreds of exercises. You're in control of how much you want to challenge yourself on each exercise - because you can simply adjust your body position to add or decrease resistance. Suspension Training bodyweight exercise develops strength, balance, flexibility and core stability simultaneously.


Hatha [Mild]

Hatha yoga uses bodily postures (asanas), breathing techniques (pranayama), and meditation (dyana) with the goal of bringing about a sound, healthy body and a clear, peaceful mind. 

 

Hot VinYasa [Spicy!]

Shaken & Stirred!!  Served in a hot room of 95 degrees this class puts a seriously modern spin on the ancient practice.  Expect to shake your asana to motivating tunes in this upbeat and creative class that seamlessly links breath, movement and strength building postures to stir up the empowering energy inside of you! You will feel your way through this practice from the inside out! Class moves with a rhythmic breath. Prior knowledge of postures and yoga experience suggested.  Spicy with a kick!


Nidra [mild]

Yoga nidra or yogic sleep is a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping, like the "going-to-sleep" stage. It is a state in which the body is completely relaxed, and the practitioner becomes systematically and increasingly aware of the inner world by following a set of verbal instructions.

 

Warm Yin [Mild]

Slow. Meditative. Delicious.  Poses are held for longer periods of time (3-5 minutes) in a warm and cozy room. Yin yoga poses apply moderate stress to the connective tissues -the tendons, fascia, and ligaments—with the aim to help increase circulation in the joints and improve flexibility.
